I don't see why it couldn't display the same information as the Android app, and this would give me pause if I planned to use Hotspot Shield extensively on an iOS device. However, the iOS app shows no information other than the server. The Android app displays the total connection time, server and country, and peak speed. On the desktop apps, this includes a world map showing the server I was connected to, the VPN IP, the server's latency and current utilization percentage, connection time, a graph showing data usage over the past 24 hours, and the highest peak speed while using the VPN.
Settings and Features: Once connected, most of the apps display several sections with various information that I found useful. I consider this a must-have feature because it saves time and hassle. As with many VPNs, Hotspot Shield lets you mark servers you use often as favorites for faster access.
